If you’ve heard of SARMs, then you probably are at least a little bit familiar with the fact that people are going crazy over these drugs. They are most commonly taken as supplements for people who are looking to lose weight and gain muscle, but each different type of SARM may also provide other benefits as well. The overall purpose of SARMs is to replace anabolic androgenic steroids. While they may not yet be officially approved for medical use, many of them have already gone through trials to be used in testosterone replacement therapy.
What Are SARMs?
SARM stands for Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator. These are synthetic drugs that have been designed to be safer and less-intrusive replacements for anabolic androgenic steroids. While the different types of SARMs may provide many different benefits, they are all most commonly used by bodybuilders and athletes as a way to quickly build muscle mass. They can do all of this without the negative side effects of steroids because of their high ratios of anabolic to androgenic properties (sometimes reaching as high as ten to one).
If you’re looking for the best quality SARMs available on the market today, you should do your research into the different types that are offered. Each type may differ in strength and side effects, but they all generally serve the same purpose. The type you choose may depend on your personal circumstances and the reasons why you’re using SARMs in the first place.
LGD 4033
LGD 4033 is one of the strongest types of SARMs. It’s similar to Ostarine, another SARM, but it takes a lot less of a dosage to be nearly twelve times as powerful. With that said, it is also more likely than Ostarine and other SARMs to suppress the HPTA, or the Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Testes-Axis, which is a system that is vital to the development of the reproductive system and immune system. Because of this, it may be wise to pair LGD 4033 with a SERM, or Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator, after completing the initial therapy.
RAD 140
RAD 140 is even more powerful than the previously mentioned LGD 4033, as it has an anabolic to androgenic ratio of as high as 90 to 1. This incredibly high ratio means that this type of SARM is even less likely to produce any of the negative androgenic side effects associated with steroids. With that said, this SARM is still very new to the market, so there hasn’t been a lot of research done on how it actually performs in real-life applications.
Ostarine
Ostarine is likely the most popular of all the SARM types and is probably the first one you’d hear of when first reading about the different types of the therapy drug. This SARM is often used for people who have a caloric deficiency to help them build up and preserve muscle mass. With that said, similar to LGD 4033, it’s advised to pair this SARM with a SERM to combat the suppression of your body’s natural production of testosterone.
